To address the commandment, “You shall not murder,” Troy points out the obvious, that if other people are more important than we are, we won’t physically murder them. But in a way, maybe we actually do. Jesus raises the bar and tells us that when we have hatred in our hearts toward someone, or we feed an angry attitude toward a person who’s offended us, we qualify under Jesus’ guidelines as murderers.
