To answer the question posed in today’s message, we need to realize that God has placed the most difficult step right at the beginning, as the foundation for everything else. Once we take this step—understanding and surrendering to the fact that God owns everything and provides all that we need—the other steps will fall into place. And if we truly believe that everything is ultimately from God, it becomes easier to give back to Him and to others.
