Any News is Good News?
To kick off our new message series through Galatians and Ephesians, Troy explains that either Jesus saves us, or we save ourselves, and that second option is actually hypothetical and impossible.  Salvation is not based on our ability to keep God’s rules, but on the ransom of Jesus, paid with His blood.

    Finish What You Started
    Series: Standalone
For our New Year's message, Troy discusses new beginnings and our need to stick with it and never give up. As we strive to achieve our goals, God has a part to play and so do we. Oftentimes, God chooses not to supernaturally remove or resolve a problem; instead, He gives His ongoing, miraculous strength to enable us to persevere through the problem. Then we can finish what we started and arrive at a better place than we were before.

    You Were Born for This
    Series: Standalone
As we celebrate the Christmas holiday and we consider why Jesus was born, we would have to say that He was born to die. And because He was born as God in the flesh, He was able to live a perfect life, die on the cross to pay for our sins, and rise again to live for all eternity.

    I Don’t Want To (But I Will)
Along with our children's Christmas program, Troy brings a message from Mark that centers around Jesus in the garden, right before His arrest and crucifixion. We discover that on a human level, Jesus did not want to go through the punishment and suffering He was about to endure, but we also see that He submitted to God's will, no matter what His own desires were. And that’s the best way for each one of us to live our lives as well.

    You’re More Important Than I
As Albert Schweitzer found out, despite his many talents and personal accomplishments, "Every person I know who has been truly happy has learned how to serve others." What Schweitzer discovered was something Jesus taught a long time before that. Jesus did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. He also instructed us to do the same, which leads us to a much greater joy and fulfillment than we could ever have by serving ourselves first.

Help Me Stand, Don’t Make Me Fall
Jesus gave a strong warning to those who cause "little ones" to stumble because that's how much he values every human soul that He created. All people matter to God and they had better matter to us as well.

    Inside Out and Upside Down
One of our elders, Dean, brings a message from our series through the Gospel of Mark. He covers sections of chapter 7 and reminds us how critical it is to put God's Word above our own opinions and traditions. He also encourages us to live in such a way that the people around us want to know more about Jesus.
