What is Financial Peace University?

FPU is the most important step to changing your financial future. It is your Total Money Makeover Program. It takes the head knowledge from the books and the radio show and turns it into real action.

FPU is a 13-week, life-changing program that empowers and teaches you how to make the right money decisions to achieve your financial goals and experience a total money makeover.

How long and how often do the classes meet?

Classes are held once per week for 13 consecutive weeks. Each class session lasts approximately two hours.

The first hour consists of financial teaching by Dave Ramsey via video.

The second hour consists of small groups. The small group discussions will allow you to apply the principles to your daily life. The group's members will help to hold each other accountable and support each other during the process of transforming each person's finances and future. The small group discussions are crucial because when it come to personal finances, it's 80 percent behavior and 20 percent knowledge!

Letter from the Director of FPU

Dear Friends,

How would you feel if you had NO DEBT and a solid plan for what to do with your money each month? Would you make different choices? Have different priorities?

We have seen it time and time again. Poor financial decisions steal peace of mind and destroy relationships. Proverbs 22:7 teaches us that "The borrower is servant to the lender." Many people find themselves slaves to debt, struggling to make ends meet each month. Luke 8:14 describes this condition as being "choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of this life."

The vision of Financial Peace University is two-fold:

  1. To TRANSFORM our society, giving families HOPE to find the PEACE and FREEDOM that comes from financial responsibility.
  2. To find an everlasting peace through a relationship with the "Prince of Peace," Christ Jesus.

May God bless you as you help us spread the message of hope!

In Christian Love, your fellow co-worker
