Jesus Christ said, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God" (Matthew 5:8) as He began to deliver His great Sermon on the Mount. This wonderful promise served as the centerpiece of this year's Portland Youth Rally, from which we recently returned.

Many hearts, both young and old, were turned back to our Savior as we sang praises to God, heard amazing, hard-hitting messages from the featured speaker, participated in small group discussions, and just enjoyed some awesome times of fun and fellowship! More than 60 youths and adults traveled safely to Portland and back for this year's event, which saw an overall total of more than 400 people registered from churches throughout the Northwest and even from California and Nevada.

Please keep the youth ministry in your prayers as we continue planting and watering seeds, trusting that God will cause the growth to change this generation into fully devoted, sold-out servants of Christ.
