5/3/2007 - I have to admit that I dread this time of year – the end of school and a new set of graduates ready to enter the “real” world. I know the kids are excited and they may be happy to see less of me; however, I’m never prepared to see less of them. As much as I love youth ministry, the one aspect I truly dislike is saying goodbye to kids who have grown to occupy such special places in my heart. Emily, Sarai, Amber, Annie, and Kim – I am so proud of you, I love every moment we’ve shared together, and I’m a better person for knowing each of you. I’ve seen some of you more than others, and at different times, but I am truly thankful for whatever time we’ve had. I wish you the very best in life and I trust you will continue growing in your relationships with God. I really hope to see you more in this world, but I especially count on seeing you when this life is over, when eternity is ushered in, and instead of saying goodbye we will worship our Savior together forever!
